It has been a beautiful day. In my quiet time this morning I read Matthew 26:56. (NLT) It says…But this is all happening to fulfill the words of the prophets as recorded in the Scriptures. At that point, all the disciples deserted him and fled.

Will you also go away? This is a question that we all as believers in Christ must ask ourselves. It is easy to say that we will follow the Savior wherever he leads as long as there is no opposition. Yet when we are faced with it will we deny him or stand with him at all costs.

If we can’t then what we are doing is crucifying him all over again. That is certainly not what we want to do! Holy Spirit strengthen us so that we will not be cowardly but BOLD enough to stand with Christ even unto death.
