I rose this morning with this scripture on my heart. Amos 3:3 – “Can two people walk together without agreeing on the direction?”.

I thought about my relationship with God. How He chose me, and I agreed to follow Him. I made the commitment to follow wherever He led me. Two do not walk together along a road unless they have first met, talked and agreed to continue on together. So, I made that decision realizing that I had to trust him fully to take care of me and all that concerned me. I knew coming into the relationship, that there would probably be times when I wouldn’t agree with where we were going due to fear of the unknown. But I thought about this: He is my creator, He made me. He knows everything that there is to know about me. He knows things about me that I don’t know about myself. He knows my strength and all my weaknesses and Lord help! I have many weaknesses. Therefore, to follow Him meant that I had to surrender to His plan for me and not what I wanted for myself. So, lead me Lord in the way everlasting! For your unfailing love is high as the heavens. Your faithfulness reaches to the clouds. Be exalted, O God, above the highest heavens. May your glory shine over all the earth. Psalm 57:10-11
