Everything that God created was good and very good. There was nothing that He created that was defective. When I think about how God designed every detail of who we are, it amazes me. Not one of us are the same. We have our own individual personality. So often, we compare ourselves with others. We must learn to stop comparing ourselves with others because we’re not supposed to look like someone else. If that is how God wanted it, He would’ve created us all the same. Besides, I have discovered that the more I stay focused on God, the pressure to conform is not there. Let’s fix our eyes on HIM and then we can encourage and celebrate one another without compromising ourselves. The deeper our relationship grows with Him, the more we will desire to please Him and not others.

Be encouraged today knowing that you are special and that God has created you for greatness! Only you can do the things that He has created you to do.

David said it this way in the Word of God: You made all the delicate, inner parts of my body and knit me together in my mother’s womb. Thank you for making me so wonderfully complex! Your workmanship is marvelous-how well I know it.
